Invite: CME on “Prevention & Treatment guidelines of HIV positive mother & infant”
Dear Doctor,
Greetings from Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital!!
Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital is a NABH accredited 400-bed multi super specialty hospital, and
also UPSACS approved ICTC Centre. We at “Crosslay AIDS & Wellness Centre’’ take special care
of patients with HIV and work towards their physiological and psychological well being.
With pleasure we invite you to a CME on “Prevention and Treatment guidelines of HIV positive
mother and infant” on 28th November 2014, 12:30 P.M-04:30 P.M in the Conference Hall, Service
floor, Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital. Detail of the program is attached.
The aim of the workshop is to educate Pediatricians and Gynecologists on how mother to child
transmission of HIV can be prevented and incorporating it as part of good standards of clinical
practice.
Prevention of HIV transmission from parents to child (PPTCT) requires a comprehensive package of
services that includes preventing primary HIV infection in women; preventing unintended pregnancies
in women living with HIV; preventing transmission from pregnant women living with HIV to their
infants; and providing care, treatment, and support for women living with HIV and families.
Looking into the need, Crosslay AIDS & Wellness Centre in association with Department of Pediatrics
and Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology are organizing a CME on Prevention and Treatment
guidelines of HIV positive mother and infant for Pediatricians and Gynecologists.
Registration is complimentary but mandatory.
We look forward to your participation at the workshop.
Sincerely
Dr. S.K Mittal
Head of Department
