4-year-old stallions of outstanding quality
15 4-year-old stallions are ready for the upcoming covering season. The judges were very satisfied with the
quality in general and the two champion stallions in particular.
Over the course of the stallion licensing the judges saw the stallion under the saddle. Even though the
collection of 4-year-olds had several top contenders for the champion titles, one stallions shone a little
brighter than the rest.
As a result of his type and his gaits Atterupgaards Seebach by Sandro Hit/Caprimond secured the top spot.
Due to the fact that he is bred in Denmark, by Atterupgaard stud, he also received "Aage Ravn’s Challenge
Trophy" which is awarded to the best Danish stallion. The judges described the masculine stallion thus:
”Extraordinarily expressive and elegant dressage model with a well-functioning topline and a very roomy,
balanced and uphill canter with great self-carriage.”
When it came to the six jumping stallions, the judges’ choice was an easy one to make. The superiour winner
of the performance test, Balou from Cajus stud was declared the champion. ”It is an impressive, masculine
stallion with an incredibly roomy and adjustable canter. He jumps with outstanding technique and endless
capacity; he will only get better and better with time.”
