Lady Gaga is the most famous singer in the
world, and China has their own Lady Gaga:
Laure Shang.
This Chinese singer speaks three languages:
Chinese, French and English. She studied French
in the high school in Shanghai.
She has been in France, in La Rochelle, Lille,
Nantes, Brest, Paris, etc …
When she came back to China, she worked as a translator-interpreter and translated “La
Petite Fille de Monsieur Linh “of Philippe Claudel. Then, she participated in <<the super-girl
>>. She arrived to the final and won.
She made the record: “mando-pop” and it was a success!
Laure Shang sings then in the credits of “After-shock” the movie of Feng Xiaogang .
She does an electric dance and wears a strange skirt and her hair is blond like Marilyn
Monroe. She is 100% Chinese Lady Gaga!
But Laure doesn’t like Lady Gaga: << My influences are Michael Jackson, and Lara Fabian,
but not Lady Gaga … >>
I think Laure Shang is a good singer, but I do not like the “electric dance”. I prefer the Rock
n’ roll music like The Beatles, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo
Starr.
I find the modern music is not as good as than the Rock n’ roll music of 1960 …
