I will be available at any time at this number. Health Care While Boarding For the safety of all our patients and boarders, Ayers Animal Hospital maintains a strict policy of preventative medicine. Our goal is to protect all the pets entering our hospital from parasites and diseases. VACCINATION POLICY: Proof of current vaccination must be available for all pets. If pets are not current, vaccinations will be given while here. Dogs must be current on Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus or protective titer results within 1 year, Bordatella (kennel cough), and Rabies. Cats must be current on FVRCP or protective titers within 1 year, and Rabies. Use of Heartworm preventative is recommended, but not required. INTERNAL PARASITE POLICY: Proof of a current negative fecal. If pets are not current then a fecal test will be performed while your pets are here and charged to your account along with any needed de-worming medications. We check for fleas before admitting any pets. If any are found we will treat flea prevention while here and it will be charged to your account. AGGRESSIVE ANIMALS: We reserve the right to decline boarding aggressive animals. If your pet becomes aggressive while boarding and endangers the risk of our kennel personnel, technicians and doctors we will call you and have you make arrangements with someone to pick up your pet while you are out of town.
