CTHS September 2010-SALES TOPPER“The sleek, dark bay filly, by STORMY ATLANTIC who was purchased by Anthony Goswell, Agent
for Dick Bonnycastle’s Harlequin Ranches, is the first foal of the THEATRICAL (IRE) mare Theatre
Fan, who is a half sister to the dam of Kentucky Derby (G1) and Preakness Stakes (G1) winner, BIG
BROWN. The sales topper was bred by Hill ‘N’ Dale Ky.
Keeneland September 2010-SESSION TOPPER“A Dixie Union colt, who counts as a second dam the Canadian broodmare of the year Annasan
(Corporate Report), brought a final bid of $210,000 from Ben Glass, agent, at Tuesday's ninth session of
the Keeneland September Yearling Sale. Offered by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent, the March 20 foal
toured the ring as Hip No. 2706”.
In other news from the Keeneland September Sale, the last STORM CAT colt in history was co-bred and
sold by Hill ‘N’ Dale (STORM CAT/HALO AMERICA $320,000).
Keeneland/Fasig-Tipton November Mixed SalesThe highlight for the November 2010 Hill ‘N’ Dale Mixed sales consignments was the sale of
CARELESS JEWEL for $1,950,000.
CTHS November Mixed SaleHill ‘N’ Dale was among the leading consignors once again at the Mixed Sale in Toronto. In a
very difficult market, we were able to place 18 of 20 offerings.
