MORE2SCREEN TO DISTRIBUTE ICONIC QUEEN CONCERT
SPECIALLY RE-MASTERED FOR THE BIG SCREEN
IN 4K ULTRA HIGH DEFINITION

More2Screen has been appointed by Eagle Rock Entertainment to distribute a specially re-mastered 4K Ultra
High Definition version of the iconic concert movie Queen Rock Montreal to cinemas worldwide from 24
November 2014. Recorded live at Montreal’s Forum in 1981, it was the first time a band had filmed an entire
show in full cinema format 35mm. Now the original footage has been re-mastered in 4K Ultra HD with superb
surround sound to create the best ever cinema event experience for Queen fans around the world, showcasing
a theatrical and brilliantly entertaining performance in its full pixel-sharp glory.
Queen Rock Montreal came at the end of an extraordinary year for the band when they had topped both the
US singles and album charts for the first time, had become the first band ever to top the UK singles, albums
and video charts simultaneously, and on their legendary tour to Latin America had broken the world
attendance record for a single paying concert when 131,000 Brazilians saw the band play Sao Paulo’s Morumbi
stadium. The concert movie features many of their favourite hits including We Will Rock You, Somebody To
Love, Killer Queen, Under Pressure, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Are The Champions, Another One Bites
The Dust and Bohemian Rhapsody.
