ELA Standard CC1.5.9-10.F Make strategic use of digital media in presentations to add interest and enhance understanding of findings, reasoning, and evidence. ELA Standard CC1.5.9-10.G Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English when speaking. You will select one section, concept, or skill (2nd grading period only) from your science, social studies, math or English class assessment to teach to the class. You must design a hands-on activity (lab, game, puzzle, etc.) to review or teach the concept or skill to your pupils (classmates). The activity design can be for the entire class or small groups. When designing your activity, think about learning styles and how you learn best. The activity must incorporate a minimum of 5 defined vocabulary terms. You must also create a 5-10 question assessment tool (short quiz, exit ticket, Quia survey, etc.) to assess how well your pupils understood the lesson. The activity must engage students for at least 8 minutes. (This does not include the assessment) There will be some time in class to prepare, but this will also require planning and preparation outside of school. Partner work must be approved in advance.
