IB Students:
Take this exam registration form home tonight and fill it out with your parents. ALL students will
fill out the first page. Select a payment option at the bottom of the page. Bring payment and your
registration to Ms. Frizzell-Fuller in room 328 no later than Oct. 22.








IB Courses show up on your transcript as such. However, for college recognition and the
possibility of college credit, you must take the IB Globally Moderated Exam in May and
complete all internal assessment work by the deadline for each course.
We recommend researching how different colleges of interest to you treat IB courses and IB
exams. Taken a-la-carte, colleges are more likely to give credit for HL course over SL
courses, but remember that every school is different.
You are eligible to take an IB Exam if you have participated in the entire IB Course and if
you have or plan to complete all Internal Assessment work.
To earn an IB Full Diploma, candidates must take all exams.
All students will receive a log-in and password to check scores and send scores to
Universities when they come out in July.

Testing dates and times may not be changed or altered due to scheduling conflicts with
sports, activities, or vacations.
To have a more in-depth conversation about whether you should take an exam or not, please

Free-Reduced Lunch: If you are a student who qualifies for free/reduced lunch, you will
only be responsible for the registration fee ($160.00) and $10 per exam for up to 3 exams.

Late fees are applied by the IB Organization, not Hellgate High School
There are no refunds for exam fees after November 15, 2014 if a student elects not to take
an exam without extenuating circumstances (i.e. moving).
*If you are a continuing FULL DIPLOMA student who paid the registration fee last year, you do not need to pay it
again. If you are or have become a course-only student, you will need to pay the registration fee for each exam year.
Services and accommodations are available and permitted by IB for students with special needs. See Ms. Frizzell-Fuller
for information.

Need-Based Scholarship
A need-based scholarship or financial aid is for students whose families face financial hardship, yet who
do not qualify for free/reduced lunch. These scholarship monies are raised from community donations,
parent-group fundraising, and generosity of the administration. Please fill this form out in its entirety. The
