Wethersfield FFA Alumni Achievement Award
Application
This application for the FFA Alumni Achievement Award is to be filled out by a
graduating senior agriculture student of Wethersfield High School. It is to be
received by the Agricultural Education Instructor no later than April 1st.
The achievement award will be based on the student’s initiative both
scholastically and through their participation in Agriculture class and FFA activities
for at least 3 years in his/her high school career.
The achievement award will be based on three distinct areas:
Part 1 – grade point average at the beginning of second semester of his/her
senior year.
Part 2 – participation in agricultural education and FFA activities
Part 3 – ability to compose an essay and ability to communicate through an
interview about his/her FFA activities and career goals while in Official
Dress.
This award is sponsored by the Wethersfield FFA Alumni. The award can be given
to one or more individuals with the dollar amount to be decided by the selection
committee and Alumni annually. Preference may be given to those pursuing a
career in Agriculture. The recipient(s) will be chosen by a selection committee
composed of Wethersfield FFA Alumni Association members as well as the
Agricultural Education Instructor as Ex – official.
