Adaptation - how it goes, what we have been focusing on
We think that the addictions has went wery well! Some have spent more time than others,
but this is also quite natural. We see that most children have started to settle down and
become familiar with each other. Until now we havent had so much on the program. This is
because we are trying to have the least amount of transition situations - because these are
often challenging for the children in the beginning. We have spent a lot of time down on the
floor with the children - and this we will continue. We remind you that it is very important
that you say goodbye to your child before you go.
Parents/teacher conversation - October, November
• A conversation of approximately 30 minutes about your child as well as expectations for
cooperation between parents and kindergarten. If there is anything else you wonder outside
these conversations - you should not hesitate to make an appointment, send mail or call.
• Dates and times for these conversation will be located on the door to Berget.
Language gorup
In Jåtta kindergarten we have a systematized work with language and we do this in order to
assure the quality of language work in our kindergarden. The main objectives includes that
all children should receive support in their own language development.
• We have not started with language groups yet, but we will be starting in November /
December.
• For 2-year-olds (born in 2013) - in small groups (3-4 children). Where we also use the
month theme in relation to the planning. In smaller groups makes it easier to create a
community - and everyone gets involved on an equal footing.
• 10-20 min - maybe before we og uoutside. At least 3 times a week.
Dayrhythm
Breakfast - 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.
Spontaneous play - 8:30 to 9:00
Circle time - from 09.00 to 09.15 (when you deliver your kids it's good if you come before or
after circle tim. Do you come in the middle of it may interfere).
Outdoor play / tour - 9:15 to 10:30 (if the child is sick or does not come kindergarten for
some reason - we want you notify before 09.30).
Lunch - 10:45 to 11:30
Sleeping / play - from 11.30 to 14.00
Fruit - from 14.00 to 14.30
Activities / play - from 14.30 to 15.30
Spontaneous play - from 15.30 to 16.30
Birthdays
• Selebrate birthdays in circle time and poster on the door
• Crown
• Do not carry anything! We celebrate the day with attention to the child - through circle
time and conversations.
Information about our worksystem and when some of the addults are sick
• Early guard from 07.30 to 15.00
• Between guard from 08.00 to 15.30
• Late guard from 09.00 to 16.30
If there is disease in the department among the adults we dont get a replacement before the
absence of more than 16 days. This means that we must cooperate with the other
departments on Fløy Sør. Mainly we will get help from Nuten and vice versa. We always try
and have one from Berget on early and late guard.
• When there is disease in the department, we hope that you understand that everything
that is scheduled on the monthly plan will not be completed, but we do the best we can.
Practical information:
• Serious nut allergy on the wing (fløy Sør) - you can not bring food or like which that may
contain traces of nuts into the kindergarden. Not shall it be in the children's strollers, clothes
etc

• Be sure to check inside the locker room that it's always changing clothes
• We go towards autumn - suddenly it's cold outside. Have therefore warm clothes lying in
the kindergarten.
