Pandora’s Box Project
 Find a container, box, or jar and decorate it so that it generates curiosity and no one could
resist opening it.
 Construct 10 evils of today’s society and put them in the box. All evils must be
personified (they have eyes, wings, hands, mouths, etc.) You can glue eyes and wings on
a mirror to represent vanity OR draw “flying” handcuffs to represent theft, for example.
 Construct one item representing Hope for our present society in the box.
 Write a poem or a short essay about one evil in your Pandora’s box. The poem or essay
thoroughly explains the nature of the evil, provides background information about the
evil in society, and offers a thorough detailed solution to that evil.
 Provide a “hopeful solution” to the evil you have chosen.
