LBDR ADOPTION PROCEDURE Before filling out an application form please read through the following outline of our adoption procedure 1. Please complete an application form and return to LBDR 2. If the completed application form is approved, we will arrange a home check 3. If the home check is satisfactory, we will invite you to meet your chosen rescue dog(s). We will need all members of the family to visit, including resident children and existing dog(s). 4. Please be aware that more than one visit may be required before decisions are finalised 5. You will be asked to sign a contract. This outlines our basic expectations of you as the dog’s owner 6. A minimum donation of £200 - £300 is payable for each of our adult dogs and £250 - £400 for puppies under the age of 5 months. This is to help offset veterinarian fees and care. All dogs in our care are neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before leaving for their new home. LBDR is based in Kent but we will rehome to England, Scotland and Wales. The application must be prepared to travel to meet the dog, which in some cases can take more than one meeting. If you are still interested in adopting one of the dogs in our care, please complete the application form below. We will endeavour to contact you without delay, but please bear in mind that the care of our dogs will take precedence. lbdr.contact@gmail.com www.largebreeddogrescue.co.uk LBDR is a registered charity.
