We’ve already seen great inroads made in this area during the past 12 months, but the trend is poised to grow even further. Images, galleries, photos, videos, slide decks and infographics are the formats of choice for many consumers. Presenting information in a visual way ensures that your content stands out. It is also social media-friendly, especially as platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Google+ have focused their platforms on delivering more visual content. We’ll be talking to content specialists who have seen great success with visual content, and looking at the impact of visual content on digital design and web development. Speakers Panagiotis Fotaris, Lecturer in Digital Media Design at University of East London - Panagiotis has extensive experience teaching computer science and design topics at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. A Dynamic digital media enthusiast and learning technologist offering more than ten years' working experience in both academic institutions and the digital media industry, with a deep understanding of the pedagogical, social and cultural issues affecting the adoption of new learning technologies. Theo Jones, Creative Director at Webcredible - Theo is responsible for overseeing the creative and visual output of work. His key focus is to ensure design innovation in the overlap of interaction, visuals, motion and interface behaviors working with our team of Interaction & Visual Designers and Consultants. Before joining Webcredible, Theo spent a decade at the BBC in a variety of design roles, most recently as Creative Director of User Experience within BBC Research & Development.
