Breakaway Madhouse FAQ
What is Breakaway Madhouse?
A: Breakaway Madhouse is a way to gather all middle school students in one home
to get crazy about what God wants to do in their lives! Every other week, we will
give students a chance to eat some fun food, connect with their friends, hear
practical teaching, and break out into small groups. These groups will be consistent
each week divided by grade and gender with an adult leader to have further
discussion about what we are learning in Breakaway. Our desire is that through this
fun, crazy environment, students will grow deeper in their relationship with God,
and also have an exciting place to invite friends that don’t know Jesus.
Who is able to come?
A: Any Middle School Student, grades 6-8. They do not have to attend church or
Kensington. Everyone is welcome!
When is Breakaway Madhouse?
A: Breakaway Madhouse happens on a bi-weekly basis starting on February 3rd. It
will be on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm.
Where is Breakaway Madhouse located?
A: Breakaway Madhouse is located at Jim and Sarah Pipers house. Address: 5335
Wayfind Ln Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302
What is the difference between Sunday Morning and Madhouse?
A: Sunday morning is all about connecting students in friendships and having fun
while engaging with a bigger program to learn about God and who He has created
them to be. Madhouse is a place to take the same concepts and reinforce them
within a fun space where discussion and application with their friends and adult
leaders can be the main focus. This will be a great way for our students to reach out
and invite their friends who may not come on a Sunday morning.
What should I expect as a parent?
A: Our goal for Madhouse is to empower our students with biblical truth, having
them take what they discuss in Madhouse into their daily lives. We will provide you
with information each week so that you can follow up and continue the
conversation. We know that you are the main influence and catalyst for what
happens in your student’s life and we want to join you in this journey.
How can I connect or help out?
A: There are a few ways:
- Get your student there and pick up their friends to come too
- Send great snacks when your student’s small group is on deck
- Come inside and meet the leaders along with our Breakaway Director, Caleb
Henderson
Who do I contact with any questions?
