Current Position
Assistant Professor of Curriculum Theory in the Department of Teaching,
Learning and Innovation. Teach graduate curriculum & Social Foundations
courses at the Doctoral and Master level and undergraduate pedagogy courses.
Research interests continue to focus on issues of epistemology, culture,
curriculum and qualitative research along with an emerging interest in teacher
education and assessment. Special assignment helping to lead efforts
positioning the College of Education at The University of Texas at Brownsville for
first time NCATE accreditation.
