Kelly Serrano completed her massage certification course at the Morris Institute of
Natural Therapeutics in Denville, NJ in 1996. Since completing her original certification,
Kelly has taken additional CEU courses to evolve her massage therapy style into an
integrative approach, customizing the massage to the individual’s needs. She is a NJ
State Licensed Massage Therapist, member in good standing of the Associated Bodywork
and Massage Professionals and has been in practice since 1996.
Kelly enjoys taking care of her mini-farm of chickens, ducks and large organic garden
with her husband and four children. Her massage therapy practice gives her the
opportunity to help others feel better and promote a healthier lifestyle and longevity
through the “preventative maintenance” of massage.
Some of the modalities she offers:

Swedish Massage: a light, gentle touch, main purpose is for relaxation
Integrative Massage: combination of several types of modalities such as deep
tissue, myofascial and trigger point to customize the massage to the individual’s
needs.
Deep Tissue
Pre-Natal Massage – a light, gentle massage specific for expectant mothers
Chair Massage
Hot Stone Massage – hot basalt stones are used to massage tight muscles,
creating deep relaxation while clearing tension
Reflexology – practiced primarily on the feet, this bodywork is based on an
ancient Chinese theory that the organs and systems of the body are reflected on
the feet; pressure and massage are used over specific points to clear congestion
and bring balance to the energy flow, very relaxing and a great stress reducer

Massage therapy stimulates the lymphatic system, which carries away the
body’s waste products.
 Prevents and relieves muscle cramps and spasms, releases endorphins
 Can help with pain management in conditions such as arthritis, sciatica,
and muscle spasms.
