1. Design of the tank: - Our design will be based on latest I.S.
codes & Specification & our tank will be circular in shape. We
shall provide indtz type tanks below capacity 850 KL.

flanged pipes & specials
ii) All the Sluice valves above 600mm dia Shall be C.I. double

shall provide one AC Blorero/Scorpio vehicle with driver
and POL for inspection work during the entire work

2) Pipe, Specials & Sluice valves :- a) We shall provide
required CI double flanged pipe & specials as per
specifications given in table clause under 24.3 of
Annexure –“E” up to 5.0 m. outside of the outer most
column of 8 nos. R.C.C. OHT. Only.
a) Our LS Offer is based on Diameter of scour pipe line
of 200 mm for each tank.
b) All the sluice valves shall be C.I. double flanged PN 1.0

c) Our lump Sum offer dose not includes the work of
removal & fitting of pipes & special for already
existing RCC OHT at Balco Gayatry Mandir.

3) Time of completion: - The time of completion will be
reckoned from the date of final approval of Design &
Drawing from the competent authority. Time of
completion for this huge project work must be 24 months

4) Security Deposit :- We will deposit the Bank Guarantee of
Amount 5% LS offer as S.D. at the time of signing the
Agreement and after awards we will convert it in form of
Bank FDR at the time of submission of our Running Bills

5) Defect liability period:- The time of defect liability period
shall be reckoned from the date of successful water hydro
testing of each individual tank. Department will have to
provide the sufficient water for testing of the tank within
one month after completion of our structure.

6) Price Escalation :- price escalation shall be payable to us
by the KMC

borne by the KMC

8) Insurance :- Insurance expenditure regarding total
contract price for the period of work shall be borne by
KMC (KMC means korba municipal corporation)

9) Water:- Sufficient water for the construction of the work
& for testing of the tanks shall be provided by KMC free of
cost at every individual site in our storage tanks.

10) Break up schedule of payment:- Break up schedule of
payment as Annexure – “G” of NIT needs to be modified
regarding break up payment on supply of pipe & Special.
This amount shall be included in each individual tank
proportionately.

11) Safe bearing capacity of Soil: - our lump sum offer is
based on considering SBC 20 T/sqm below. 3.02 m on
average NGL of each location.

codes & specification & our Tank will be circular in shape
with column & Braces staging.

13) Depth of water in tan: - Depth of water in the container
will between 6.0 m to 8.0 m depending upon the capacity

14) Water level indicator: - we will provide conventional
water level indicator comprised of M.S. flats, sheet, guide
pulleys etc. duly painted & celebrated.

15) M.S. Clamps: - We will provide M.S. clamps for Vertical
pipe line with the braces as per your specification & if will
be 4.0m to 5.0m c/c between as per structural design of
the tank for the braces.

regarding some CLAUSES of NIT
a) Clause (41) of annexure “E” page no. 41: - The
contractor shall provide on AC Bolero/Scorpio vehicle
with driver and POL for inspection work during the
entire work period exclusively for KMC officials.

17) Some of the clause of the NIT need to be deleted since
these clause are not related with the RCC OTH, RCC sump
& Building work :a) Clause (6), (12), (13), (17), (19) & (21) of NIT No. 2&3
under “Explanatory Notes on some important issues
related to works.
b) Clause (46) of annexure :- “E” page no. 41 of NIT is
liable to be deleted since provision of retention
money of 5% as security deposit is already mentioned
under clause 2.9.1 of NIT page no. 15 under section
“Submission of Tender”

if our suggestion is accepted.

There should not be any construction in portion of staging
of tank from safety point view We suggest a room of 15m2
should be built beside the structure.

Please confirm only flat (base & top of container) type of
circular tanks are allowed. Inze or dome type tanks are not
allowed. Flat base should be supported on Rectangular
beam resting on columns.
