Signature of Applicant Date RULES AND REGULATIONS - ISF CLASSROOM TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION Classroom Teacher Scholarship - ($1000): Awarded to a classroom teacher in the Irving ISD who plans to pursue continuing education to further his/her skills in the teaching profession. He/She must be continuing with IISD for the following school year. ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS To be eligible, a classroom teacher must be currently employed by the Irving Independent School District having taught a minimum of three complete years in the District. The classroom teacher must also have demonstrated the following: Must be a current fulltime/permanent district employee Outstanding Teaching Ability Participation in School and Community Organizations and Activities Leadership Ability The scholarship is limited to a classroom teacher who has not received a full scholarship (from any source) for graduate work. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS The classroom teacher must complete the ISF scholarship application and include two letters of reference from individuals who represent different sources and who are not related to the applicant.
