What is ACORN? “Where” is ACCORN/ROSI? The Repository of Student Information (ROSI renamed ACORN) is U of T’s student online information system. This is where you can sign up for courses, update personal information and access grades. Travel & Transportation Where can I find the TTC? What about a TTC schedule? ttc.ca The St. George campus is surrounded by TTC subway stops, bus routes and streetcar lines. The nearest subway stops are the St. George stop on the Bloor line and the Museum and Queen’s Park stops on the YongeUniversity line. How do I get a discounted TTC Metropass? The Post-Secondary TTC Metropass is available from collector booths at all TTC subway stations. The University of Toronto Students' Union (UTSU), 12 Hart House Circle, also distributes it during the last five business days of every month. The cost of the pass is $112. (UTSU accepts debit only.) Note: A Post-Secondary TTC Student Photo ID is required to purchase the discounted Metropass. These are available at select on-campus locations at the beginning of the fall term (see utsu.ca for dates) and throughout the year at the Sherbourne subway station; a valid TCard is required. Only full-time post-secondary students are eligible to use the Post-Secondary TTC Metropass. What is the closest accessible subway station? St. George Subway Station: The elevator is at the Bedford St. entrance. Queen’s Park Subway Station: The elevator is on the north east corner of University Avenue & College St. Where do I get the discounted GO Transit pass? GO Transit offers discounts to full-time university students. Application forms are available at the TCard Office in Rm. 2054A, Robarts Library. How do I use the UTM Shuttle Bus? The St. George stop of the UTM Shuttle Bus is in front of Hart House, 7 Hart House Circle. On the St. George campus, get your tickets and information at The HUB in Hart House. At the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), get your tickets from the Info Booth in the Davis Building. You can buy monthly passes in Rm. 2097 of the Davis Building. Note: UTM students travel free with their valid TCard. For all other students a one-way ticket is $6. Students can also use a PRESTO card on the transit services. PRESTO cards allow transit customers to pay their fare using a convenient, electronic, reloadable smartcard. The PRESTO card can be used on subways, buses, and streetcars. For more information, please visit: prestocard.ca How do I get to UTSC? University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) is located at 1265 Military Trail. If you are driving, you can get directions from Google Maps from where you are to that address. For public transit, there are several routes: On the Yonge subway line, exit at York Mills station and take bus 95, 95B, 95E or 95F. On the Bloor line, travel east to the end of the line (Kennedy Station), transfer to the LRT and then get off at the Scarborough Town Centre stop. Once you are there, take bus 38 or 38A. Get help and directions at ttc.ca. Money & Fees Where do I pick up OSAP documents? Where do I process OSAP documents? Students receiving OSAP assistance must visit their registrar’s office to pick up their documents. Students should first check their OSAP status online to make sure their documents are ready. Three pieces of identification are required – a government-issued photo ID, TCard and SIN card – as well as a void cheque. For a limited time, some registrar’s offices will have people present who can help students process their documents. Otherwise, students will have to process their documents at a designated Canada Post outlet, one of which can be found at the U of T Bookstore on the main floor of the Koffler Student Services Centre, 214 College St. Where do I pay my fees? Pay your fees at a bank, either in person or through online banking. Print your fees invoice from your ROSI/ACORN account at rosi.utoronto.ca. Find answers to your questions on the Fees website: fees.utoronto.ca. How do I request a fee deferral? Requesting a fee deferral should be done as early as possible. Undergraduate students should visit their registrar’s office. Graduate students at OISE, Rotman and Dentistry should visit their own registrars, and all other graduate students should consult the School of Graduate Studies. Public access computers are available in most campus libraries. How do I set up my email? You set up your U of T email at the same time as you activate your UTORid. Do this at utorid.utoronto.ca. What’s a UTORid? How do I get one? Your UTORid is an 8 digit code that allows you access to university computers and online systems such as email and Portal (Blackboard). Find your UTORid on your TCard. To activate it, you must go to utorid.utoronto.ca and use the secret activation key (SAK) issued by the TCard office at the time you receive your TCard.
