News From Room 110 Ms. Nation and cmnation@sps186.org 525-3281 May 21, 2013 Ms. Barnes Nea is practicing fine motor skills, by drawing horizontal (top to bottom), vertical (side to side), and lines that crisscross like a t. She is also practicing circles! Austtyn is reading his favorite Barney book to his friends. Dates to Remember: 5- Day Vocabulary Book: Since this is the last week of school, I decided to not read a 5day vocabulary book, and let the kiddos take a turn picking out their favorite books for me to read to them. Yesterday we read, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. We will see what tomorrow brings! FUN DAYS: Wednesday, May 21st -Messy Play Day. Please wear play clothes! Friday, May 24th - Ice Cream Party!!! The kiddos have worked so hard, and deserve it! , May 23rd and 24th, P.M. Students get out at 2:00 P.M. There is NO SCHOOL Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. Tuesday, May 28th is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE YEAR! Students in the P.M. class will be dismissed at 2:00 P.M. How many apples can you put on top, before they drop? Zoey said she was going to put one apple up on top, and she did it! I just want to thank all my wonderful families again for everything! This has been such an exciting, and wonderful year! It was definitely a year full of learning and great memories. I’m really going to miss all of my kiddos over the summer. Your children will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will be sending some things home on the last day of school for the kiddos to work on over the summer. A special Thank You to Nea’s Mom, who is coming in to spend Wednesday with us! Also, to Ethan’s Mom, who has volunteered to come on the last day of school and be an extra set of hands in the classroom! We appreciate it! Please be sure to look over your child’s progress report!
