Megan Meier Memorial Scholarship
The Megan Meier Foundation is seeking high school seniors that have made a positive impact regarding
issues of bullying and cyberbullying in their own school and community. Possess a minimum cumulative
GPA 2.50 on his or her most recent report card, which must be included with the application. Must
obtain a written recommendation from a member of the faculty or staff at the school in which he or she
is enrolled.

Trico Leadership Opportunity – 2016 Washington Youth Tour Application- Offers students a great
opportunity to develop leadership skills, see our government in action and meet other young people
from across the country while touring Washington, D.C., and learning American history. Deadline to

Evansville College- Scholarship opportunities if you would like to attend a small (2,500 students) liberal
arts college in Indiana. They have a strong Physical Therapy Program and 93% of graduates get jobs or
get into graduate school. 18 students in a class and all classes are taught by professors not teacher’s
assistants.

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to 500 high school seniors nationwide. Applications will be judged on
scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Applications must be returned to the IRHS counseling office
no later than Dec 1, 2015.

ASU Leadership Scholarship Program: Nomination by your counselor (LSP) recognizes outstanding high
school graduating seniors who have achieved excellence in leadership. Twenty-one high school seniors
from Arizona and up to four out-of-state high school seniors are selected for the scholarship each year.
Established in 1977 to develop exceptional leadership skills among promising scholars, this program has
a long-standing history at Arizona State University. More than a scholarship program, students become
integral members of the university community. Award amount: $9,000. Recipients may use the
scholarship for tuition and fees, housing and other educational expenses. Due Date: January 8, 2016

The Trico Foundation Scholarship Application: Applicants must be immediate family of a Trico

Dorrance Scholarship Programs
Graduating seniors who will be the first in their family to attend college (neither parent holds a 4 year
degree), have applied at UA, ASU, or NAU, min. 3.0 GPA, combined reading and math SAT score 1040 or
ACT composite score of 22, have demonstrated financial need, and a record of leadership and volunteer
service. Complete online application and include teacher and counselor recommendations if selected as

Kaibab Arizona State University Scholarship
The Kaibab Industries Scholarship Fund was established in October 1987 at the ASU Foundation to
benefit entering freshman students at Arizona State University on the basis of academic merit and

Baird Scholarship- (Nomination) Recognizes top students. Award amount: $12,500 per year. Due date:

2016 Horatio Alger Scholarship Application-Seeks to assist students who have demonstrated integrity,
perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, a good academic record,

10th annual AES Scholarship
This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational

54th Annual U.S. Senate Youth Scholarship Program
This program will provide two outstanding Arizona high school juniors or seniors with a $5,000
scholarship and an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to meet their nation's leaders. Winners

an interview with the panel.

Flinn Foundation Scholar
Flinn Scholarships are provided to 20 of Arizona’s highest-achieving students annually for undergraduate
