To qualify for the 2015 National Supreme Showing Championship Show at Equifest, Peterborough the first, second and third place horse/pony in
the following classes F4 and F5 will each qualify. To enter the National Supreme Showing Championship Show the rider/handler and horse/pony
must register with 15+ Horse & Pony Events within 14 days of the qualifying show date. Qualification cards (to be signed by show officials at the

SOUTH WEST PONY ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS
QUALIFYING RULES
Classes W1 - W6; R1 – R9; C1-C5 ; S1 - S2; S6; M1 - M8; P1 - P2; F1 - F5 are qualifiers. This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony
Association Championships
to be held on 3 - 6 September 2015,
at The David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent.
To qualify for the Championships:
1. Enter one of the qualifying classes.
2. Be one of the two highest placed exhibits not already qualified within the first four and receive
a qualification card signed in the ring.
3. Complete the entry form on the qualification card.
4. Return the card to together with any registration fees due within 14 days of this show. Please Note:
Registration fee for 2015 is £25 to include all members of the family and equines owned by the family.
Royal London
First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held
at the Royal London Show in 2014/15. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the
Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the

Amateur Showing Society
Classes W1-W6, R1-R9, T1-T4, S1-S7, M1-M8, P1-P2, F1-F8 are qualifiers. 1st -3rd qualify for the amateur showing society national championships.

The Showing Register (TSR)
‘TSR Rider & IN HAND Championships- This show is a qualifier for the 2015 TSR Riders/In Hand Regional Championships. Riders/Handlers can
choose which Regional final they go to, Central, East Anglia, North West, North east, South East, Wales & South West or Scottish. TSR Riders
Champs, 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. TSR In Hand Champs- The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR
In Hand card will qualify in any in hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge, cards are available from the TSR

NPA Young Handler Competition
Child handler classes (F2 & F3) are qualifiers for this year’s NPA Cornwall young handler final to be held at Royal Cornwall Show ground in
conjunction with the NPA Champions of Champions August 30th 2015
Bright Starts Qualifiers
Classes R6, S1, S2, M5 and M6 are qualifiers for BSPS Bright Stars Performance Supreme. The 1st and 2nd prize winners of each class will
compete for
THE FINALS
The finals will be held at the B.S.P.S. Summer Championship Show,
Arena U.K., Grantham, Lincs on 26th – 29th August, 2015.
All competitors in the final will receive a Finalist ROSETTE.
Placed Rosettes will be awarded to 10th place in all classes.

Equestrian Life

The Equestrian Life Championships are now in their 15 year. 8th/9th August, 2015 – Oakridge Arena, Collingham, Newark, Notts – a short drive
from the A1 Newark turnoff. Saturday is an open show and Sunday is the Championship show for qualified ONLY competitors. To qualify, you must
come 1st – 4th in any ridden showing, in hand showing or working hunter class. Fun, novelty and Show jumping classes are not qualifiers. You will
be handed a card in the ring which gives all information on what to do next on the reverse. If you wish to attend the Championship show, you must
first register with Equestrian Life at a one-off charge of £20.00. This will give you 1 free class at the Championships and complementary feed

SSADL Championship Show held on the 12th & 13th of September 2015 at Onley Equestrian Grounds, Warks. The highest placed home produced
senior horse/pony 15 years old and over from classes M1-M8, C1-C5, F4-F5, W1-W6, S1-S2, P1-P2, R2-R4, R6-R9 will qualify for the Summer

Rules
1. The show committee, owner or tenant will not accept responsibility for
any accident however caused on the showground.
2. The decision of the committee must be considered final in respect of all
disputes and may withhold any prizes if there are less than three entries.
3. Protests must be accompanied by a deposit of £25.00 (Twenty-five
pounds) to be forfeited if the committee consider the protest to be
frivolous or otherwise not reasonable.
4. The Judge’s decision is final. No person may address the Judge whilst
adjudicating unless requested by them.
5. All jumping classes are judged under British Show jumping rules.
6. Any questions arising about any animal exhibited shall be decided by the
Hon. Veterinary Surgeon.
7. All cups are kept at the risk of the winner.
8. Entries in the jumping classes J3 to J10b are confined to horse and
ponies registered with the British Show jumping and must be ridden by
riders in accordance with British Show jumping Rule 79 unless riding on a
‘ticket’.
9. No horse or pony is to be entered more than once in each class.
10. The committee reserve the right to make any alterations they think fit.
11. British Safety Standard hard hats must be worn at all times. The
following standards and specifications are currently considered to be
providing the best available protection: BSEN 1384 (with kite mark or
SEI), PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 (with kite mark or SEI). The committee
will make random checks of riders during the day.
12. No competitor shall show a stallion for which they are responsible as
owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to
compete, in any competition, without taking adequate precautions to
ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury.
13. The onus is on every rider who suffers a fall, or anybody who suffers a
fall or anybody who suffers an injury on the showground to report the fall /
injury to the show secretary.
14. Cups must be returned in good condition to the show one month before
the next show. Failure to do so will be treated as theft.
15.If a competitor enters two classes which run at the same time in different
rings, they must choose between them; classes will not be held for a
competitor.
