Applicant has a financial need for assistance. 3. Applicant has demonstrated satisfactory progress and GPA that indicate a potential for success in post-secondary education. 4. Applicant demonstrates leadership ability and involvement in extra curricular activities and/or civic, religious or community service. 5. Applicant has completed a 200 word essay that answers the questions on the application. 6. Applicant has included recommendations from 2 people who know the applicant’s skills and achievements and educational goals. One must be from an educator at the applicant’s high school. Both may be from high school personnel or one may be from a non-related adult who is familiar with the applicant’s skills, achievements and educational goals. 7. Form is signed, dated and returned (via U.S. mail or by e-mail) by the application deadline.
