2nd FIEP Asia Conference on Physical Education "Cultural and Innovatory Practices in Physical Education in Asia" Kogakuin University at Shinjuku Campus, Tokyo, Japan February 13-14th, 2016 ___________________________ Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the FIEP Director Board and Congress Scientific and Organizing Committees we are delighted to invite you to participate on 2nd FIEP Asia“ "Cultural and Innovatory Practices in Physical Education in Asia". which will be held on February 13-14th 2015 in Tokyo, Japan. We are very happy and honored to have the second conference on Physical Education and Sports in the Asian region in cooperation with FIEP (International Federation of Physical Education), the oldest international organizations dealing with physical education (PE) of all age categories. The conference is focused on a very actual topic. We have to think how PE can serve and maintain quality of life of children and youth, especially in Asian countries and what cultural and innovatory practices can be used as good examples. Also, we would like to see the specific role of PE in Asian context. We believe that this conference will be a bridge between teachers and educators from different Asian countries and give opportunities to learn and compare knowledge and experiences from countries outside of Asia. We also hope this conference will help us find better position and role of PE in the society. We would like to extend the warmest welcome to you all in Tokyo.
