APPENDIX D Staff Job Descriptions Business Manager Is licensed as a level I or II business manager according to the NMPED licensure Develops and implements financial policies and procedures Maintains compliance with NMAC, NMSA, GASB, and GAAP Prepares the annual budget and submits it to the Board to be evaluated and approved Formulates and submits Budget Adjustment Requests Maintains cash receipts and enters revenue to proper funds in the general ledger Processes payroll and related liability expenditures Issues journal entries in the general ledger in accordance with GAAP Processes accounts payable according to administrative policy Completes bank reconciliations on a monthly basis Monitors cash flow to ensure it is adequate to cover monthly liabilities Safeguards financial records;
