Mr. Hootman’s Class Constitution
In order to promote RESPECT in Mr. Hootman’s Classroom, the STUDENTS will:




Connect and show all people speaking we are paying attention.
Be kind to everyone and help those in need.
Work when time is given.
Refrain from noises and disruptive behaviors.
In order to promote RESPONSIBILITY in Mr. Hootman’s Classroom, the STUDENTS will:



Bring needed supplies to class.
Complete all assignments in a timely manner. If an assignment is missed,
students will be honest.
Be on time and ready to learn when the bell rings.
In order to promote HIGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT in Mr. Hootman’s classroom, the
STUDENTS will:



Give 100% effort.
Study for tests.
Take each task seriously.
In order to promote RESPECT in Mr. Hootman’s Classroom, the TEACHER will:




Help all students when help is needed.
Listen to students carefully
Teach and discipline respectfully (and quietly!)
Show kindness and compassion
In order to promote RESPONSIBLITY in Mr. Hootman’s Classroom, the TEACHER will:
 Provide manageable and fun lessons
 Have lesson plans each day
 Communicate test dates and other due dates clearly to students.
 Grade and return papers within a reasonable time.
In order to promote HIGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT in Mr. Hootman’s Classroom, the
TEACHER will:
 Keep grade book updated.
 Use student data to plan lessons.
 Explain things thoroughly.
 Provide help for students who need it.
