Special technique prices do not include costs of colloidal gold.

Labour costs are £60.75 for a 3 hour session. This is payable in addition to the
Standard Charges. NB: This is only likely to be cost effective for large batches of
samples.
Alternative options for preparation of Light Microscopy samples are:1. DIY: You will need basic histology training (min. 3 x 3 hr sessions @ £60.75 per
session = £182.25). Standard Charges also apply to the training sessions. After
training, the Histology lab and equipment can be used free-of-charge but the
standard charges would still be applied, unless by prior agreement with
EM&HS you bring in the consumables required.
