The Old National Bank has always been a leader in the financial services industry, founded in
1934 in Evansville, which provides online banking services, debit cards, credit cards and wealth
management.
ETL Developer:
Employed to capture the data from various client sources and construct a data warehouse to
maintain clients, customer history and current data using Informatica 8.6 version. I worked in a
project team of 15, including 6 developers, specialising in integration services such as Extracting,
Transforming and Loading data into client data warehouse, and I also played a role in generating
reports using OBIEE 10g. Spent extra time on attending development meetings for business
intelligence employees
Responsibilities:
 To extract, transform and load the data from different client systems to a relational table
environment that can be accessed and used for reporting purposes.
 Developed a set of reports against the relational tables to deliver the information to
customers in the form of PDF files. The data from the different systems was extracted
into a set of text-based and graphical reports.
 Readily used the Informatica tool - source analyzer, data warehousing designer, mapping
designer and Transformations developer.
 Extracted data from flat files and various relational databases to Oracle data warehouse.
 Created mappings using Informatica designer based on business rules to load the data.

ETL Developer:
Employed to perform advanced analysis on the customer data to enhance and offer better services
based on their needs. The project had a team of 25, however I was part of a development and
administration team of 12 and was one of only 4 developers specialising in INFORMATICA and
OBIEE development. The purpose of the project was to obtain the data about the customers from
different systems and aggregate within the data warehouse to keep track of various financial
claims, premium, loss and contracts on a daily, weekly, monthly basis using Informatica and
OBIEE.

 Created complex mappings using Unconnected, Lookup, and Aggregate and Router
transformations for populating target table in efficient manner.
 Created mapplets and used these mapplets in different Mappings.
 Used sorter transformation and newly changed dynamic lookup.
 Used the Aggregator transformation to load the summarized data for Sales and Finance
departments.
 Developed informatica mappings and tuned these for better performance with PL/SQL
Procedures / Functions to build business rules to load data.
 Developed mappings for policy, claims dimension tables.
 Coordinating with source system owners, day-to-day ETL progress monitoring, data

OBIEE Developer / Analyst:
Employed to create dash boards and reports on company sales analytics which includes, finding
the most profitable customers, cost variance, profitable projects, risk factors and estimated cost
on completion of scheduled projects. The project consisted of a team of 20, however I was part
of a development team of 10 and was one of only 4 developers specialising in OBIEE, repository
development, dashboards and presenting reports. This project was to build business intelligence
on top of their data warehouse to provide analytical reporting to its managers. Dashboards and
reports were built for daily and executive reporting about finance, sales, services, and warehouse.
These reports were requested to shown in different formats and tables to further growth of the
company’s sales.
Responsibilities:
 To gather requirements from client and end-users to develop a layout plan.
 Analysed, designed and developed OBIEE analytics metadata repository (RPD) that
consisted of physical layer, business model mapping layer and the presentation layer
using admin tool 10g.
 Used admin tool to create repositories by using physical layer, business model and
mapping layer and presentation layers.
 Worked on the BMM layer to customize the tables, hierarchies and dimensions.
 Organised and customised the presentation layer in a format that is easy for end user to
use as basis for reporting and maintaining the documentation.
 Worked on creation of repository variables and session variables.
 Worked with security settings in admin tool to set up users, groups, access privileges.
 Designed and developed interactive navigational drill down reports in BI answers,

Northwind Traders are wholesale distributors with well-established IT support and development
system. It is one of the most reputed marketing companies in UK. They have been maintaining a
data base for their orders details called “orders MIS data base”. This data base updates
automatically by an in-built ETL system from various vendors on a daily, weekly, monthly and
yearly basis.
Informatica Developer / Consultant
Employed to create orders database on company’s sales data for the sales team decision purpose.
I worked in a team of 18, including 5 developers and 2 junior developers specialising in
Informatica, I was one among them. This was my first role as a junior ETL Developer, working
for Northwind traders. The aim of my project was to implement a data warehouse as a single
repository of sales data to provide reports of order bookings and forecast data for the sales team.
The reports were developed to cater the needs of all levels of sales organisation from sales
representatives to executives.
Responsibilities:
 Gather requirements from client or end-users to develop a layout plan.
 Extracted the required source data from oracle database, flat files and XML files, and
transformed it as per business requirement, then loaded it to the “Orders data base”.
 Involved in developing Mappings and reusable transformations using Designer.
 Extracted data from flat files and various relational databases to oracle data warehouse.
 Created the unit test cases for mappings developed and verified the data.
 Conducted the peer review for mappings developed and tested.
