Rutgers 2015 Greek Week Committee Application
Greek Week is a time for the Rutgers Greek Community to come together and have fun, continue efforts
towards Greek unity, and show Rutgers why going Greek is better! The Greek Week Committee will be
used to plan Greek Week events prior to, and run events during the week of, pump everyone up, assist in
PR and advertising, and help the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Association and Multicultural
Greek Council ,with any delegated tasks related to event planning. Specific requirements and position
descriptions are listed below.
Committee Requirements:
Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
Be in good standing with your organization
Attend weekly meetings in the Fall and Spring Semesters (to be determined)
Be able to complete delegated tasks before and during the events
By submitting this document, I certify that all information provided is true. I acknowledge that the reviewer
of this application may verify that I am in good standing with my chapter, as confirmed by my chapter
president. I recognize that my chapter must be in good standing with my respective council and the
University to be considered for a position and my chapter must remain in good standing for me to retain my
position. I also understand that to be considered for one of the positions listed, my grade point information
must be shared with the reviewers of this application (the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council,
Multicultural Greek Council and Fraternity & Sorority Affairs staff). By signing this form, I am giving my
permission to the reviewers to obtain my University academic records maintained by the University
Registrar. I also understand that I may only accept one position, and forfeit my application for any other
positions once I have accepted one.

o Organizing chapter donation sites/times
o Delivering collection (money, school items, etc.) to philanthropy site
 Plan and coordinate community service site, including, but not limited, to:
o Selecting and contacting service sites
o Communicating with chapters regarding their roles/responsibilities

 Report directly to the VP of External Operations for IFC and PH
 Attend regular meetings of the Greek Week Council
 Attend all Greek Week events
 Plan and coordinate activities specific to designated program

 Minimum GPA 2.5 required

 Attend regular meetings of the Greek Week Council
 Attend all Greek Week events
 Work with Guest and Event Services to reserve/confirm reservations of rooms for events
 Make sure the project stays within the given budget
Marketing/PRChair
 Minimum GPA 2.5 required
 Report directly to the VP of External Operations for IFC and PH
 Attend regular meetings of the Greek Week Council
 Attend all Greek Week events
 Use social media, website, campus newspaper, etc. to promote the events of Greek Week
 Documents events with pictures/videos as necessary

Please submit the application at the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, or via email to
vpexternal.rupc@gmail.fom and ruifcexternalvp@gmail.com no later than Wednesday, February 27th by
5:00 pm. Interviews will take place the week of March 2nd. Those selected will be contacted by March 9th
and will have to attend the first meeting on Thursday, March 12th.
