GMS (Georgia
Military
Scholarship)
The GMS is a $70,000 full-ride scholarship and it is only
available at The University of North Georgia (UNG) Or Georgia
Military College. It requires students to commission as a
second lieutenant in the Georgia Army National Guard after
finishing college. It pays 100% of college costs, including;
room, meals, tuition, fees, uniforms and books. In addition to
the scholarship benefits, students who are offered this
scholarship will make about $40,000 in pay and benefits over
their four years in college. After commissioning, Guard
lieutenants start at about $7,500 per year for training one
weekend per month and two weeks during the summer.

The Georgia4 Scholarship is a $4,000 per year scholarship for
students admitted to the University of the South’s Class of
2019 who are permanent residents of the state of Georgia.
There is no additional application for the Georgia4
Scholarship; it is automatically awarded to students who meet
these requirements. Students receiving the Georgia4
Scholarship must maintain satisfactory academic progress to
maintain the scholarship.
