66th Annual Hico Livestock Show

Hico FFA will host its annual Jackpot Show Saturday September 28th 2013 at the Hico City Park.
Official Weigh in starts at 7:30. Lamb and Heifer Showmanship will start at 9:30 a.m. Followed
by the Lamb and Heifer show. All weight cards due in by 9:00 a.m.
Categories and Show order will be as follows: “Showmanship will be conducted at the beginning
of each show.” Beef Heifers and Beef Steers Show Ring B. Market Lambs and Market Goats in
Show Ring A.
All entries are $20.00/ animal. We will jackpot 60% of entry fees. ***No late fee, entries will
be accepted the day of the show! *** Mailed entries need to be received by September 10th.

General Rules
1. The show is open to all junior exhibitors (12th grade down)
2. All entries should be mailed by September 10th Entries can be made on the show day No late fee.
3. All entries will be in place by 9:00 a.m. Scales will close at 9:00 a.m.! If you don’t have your animal
weighed by 9:00 a.m. you will not show and will not get a refund
4. Official Weigh in 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. No weigh back
5. Additional or combined classes may be arranged on the day of the show at the discretion of the show
officials.
6. The top three places will receive 50%, 30%, 20% of the Jackpot. Showmanship is 50% payback and
plague
7. Each exhibitor will keep the premises of their stall clean at all times. Exhibitor will furnish their own
bedding for their animals.
8. Please note that all meat goat breeds will show together. Classes will be broke by weight.
9. Judge’s can classify by his or her discretion. Judge’s decision are final
10. No Refunds will be given the day of the show
11. The use of adhesives will be prohibited. Blow and go only.
12. Any animal found to be diseased will be removed from the grounds immediately
Dog Show Rules
1. This show is for fun no breeding rules.
2. All dogs should remain at the Pavilion and NOT around the livestock arena for safety reasons.
3. All dogs must remain on a leash.
4. No Pit Bulls, Doberman, Rottweiler, or any other vicious animals. Any animals of this sort will be
asked to leave the grounds.
