A Guide to Online Enrolment
2 INTRODUCTION
Online Module Enrolment is open to students at specified times of year to enable them to
enrol onto course modules for Part II of their degree course. It is accessed from the Online
Student Services section within the Student Portal.
It is essential that students participating in online enrolment familiarise themselves with the
rules of their own programme of study (which will be available in the departmental
handbook) prior to accessing online enrolment. If possible, students should have their
departmental handbook available whilst they are completing online enrolment. Students can
go in and out of the system as many times as they wish during the period that the system is
live (usually about two weeks) making amendments and changes as required
Online module enrolment will assist you to select the correct module enrolments for your
programme of study. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your options are
correct, that you enrol onto the correct number of credits for your programme of study and
that you have the appropriate pre-requisites etc. The system is not fool proof and it is vital
that you do make use of departmental literature prior to and during the process. You are also
invited to refer to the online courses handbook for further information regarding course
modules and programmes of study: (http://www.lusi.lancs.ac.uk/OnlineCoursesHandbook/).
