Paul Kuhn Sentence Journal 5/19/14 In this sentence journal visualization, I have put together all 32 sentences into a scrabble of sentences on top of the New York City skyline that I have made. My concept to have the sentences scribble around was because all these months and this semester has been such a chaos and just a craze of work and finalizing what I’m going to do after this semester, so the messiness of the sentences represents that. However the way that its actually structured in lines of the skyline, is because the days here are pretty structured with classes and doing similar things every day. Nevertheless some sentences are shifted a bit, which represent the some days that were spontaneous times. I chose to do the New York Skyline, because obviously all these sentences I write is written from what id like to call my now second home. The structure of the sentences, was pretty much the timeline of my time here, it started from first day of school, to making finals to finally choosing a major. I chose to keep it black and white as that’s what I was seeing everything in black and white, as far as I was concerned I didn’t see any middle ground, it was either something really great or something really bad happening. The one thing I notice about my sentences was that a lot of them were just naggings of my life in the city and about the weather, which I find pretty interesting that those two are what I basically think about when writing these sentences.
