Educational Donations to The University of Western Ontario Reach New Heights
CALGARY, Alberta, Canada, Sept. 19, 2011 – geoLOGIC systems ltd. is pleased to announce that The
University of Western Ontario has recognized geoLOGIC’s contributions to the University by including the
company in one of the University’s prestigious 1878 Societies, the N. C. James Society.
The N. C. James Society is one of 11 donor groups in the 1878 Societies. The 1878 Societies and its
many members play a key role in offering Canada’s best student experience and building Western’s
reputation for world leading teaching and research programs. Nathaniel Chamney James, a professor of
modern languages, served as Western’s first President and he is credited by many with keeping the
university alive during a period of serious financial crisis in the early years of the 20th century.
