Practitioner is qualified, insured, and up-to-date in the education and practice.
The first visit will include a consultation during which the therapist will recommend the
number and frequency of future sessions. Each session will last approximately one hour.

Pregnancy massage

Traditional Thai Massage

This traditional and specialised treatment will help to increase flexibility, relieve muscular and joint
tension, stimulate circulation and heighten the body’s energy levels. Loose and comfortable clothing
should be worn for this treatment.
Aromatherapy Experience

Using aromatherapy oil chosen to suit your mood, the therapist will apply gentle pressure to stimulate
the nervous system. Swedish and neuromuscular techniques will relieve tension and lymphatic
drainage will encourage healthy circulation. Working from head to toe this massage will dissolve away
stress and tension.
Indian Head massage
45 minutes £80
An extremely relaxing therapy for the face, neck, shoulders and scalp. If desired, warm oil can be
applied to condition hair and nourish the scalp.
Swedish Massage
60 minutes - £100 / 85min - £140
With pressure tailored to your request, this classic Swedish massage is designed to reduce tension
and mental fatigue resulting in a feeling of well-being and total relaxation.
Sports Massage

This intense massage is specifically designed for releasing pain and tension in tight, stressed and
aching muscles. Stretching, draining and cross muscle fibre techniques are combined with oils
containing black pepper, rosemary and ginger to warm the muscles and help disperse the build up of
lactic acid.
Manual Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD)

MLD’s intensely relaxing effect masks the strength of the treatment itself. It
is a very gentle, light touch massage that improves the ability of the body’s lymphatic
system to cleanse from the inside out.
Specific and gentle movements of the skin stimulate and increase the rate of removal of

Massage for cancer patients has many benefits, which are supported by evidence and
research as well as anecdotal experiences.
The main Benefits of massage is reduction in depression and mood disturbances and
perceived stress level, pain intensity, pulse rate, and respiratory rate significantly reduced
immediately after the massages. Specialised adapted techniques for each client are used to
achieve the best possible result.
Defiant Beauty Hand Foot and nail treatment

condition. This specialised treatment specifically have been developed for people with cancer to

Acupressure and Myofascial massage. These aid circulation, reduce tension, puffiness and sinus

Defiant Beauty Facial

Ideal for sensitive skin, this facial is designed for those with skin suffering from environmental
damage, roseacea, flight dehydration, aggressive medical peels and laser treatments. The facial
includes an application of the soothing face balm following with a deeply relaxing massage and serum
to calm inflammation, nourish, protect and heal reactive skin conditions.
Eye Treatment With Crystals

Enhance Defiant Beauty facial with an Eye treatment. This intensive eye treatment diminishes fine
lines and wrinkles, improves dark circles and puffiness for brighter eyes. Special lymphatic drainage
technique is used with crystals in this treatment to achieve the best result.
Profile:
Anna Jemeljanova is certified therapist with years of experience. She studied beauty
therapy at Newcastle College where later on has been representing Lifestyle Academy in
Newcastle on World Skills UK competition providing a wide range of advanced beauty
treatments. Achieved BSc(Hons) in Complementary therapies at UWE Bristol in 2011 where
main area of expertise was massage.
Anna expressed an interest in working with those who are affected by cancer and now
offering wide range of specialised Defiant Beauty treatments for cancer patients. Also has
gained experience of working in the most recognized places in the world such as Harrods
and Selfridges performing therapies at a high standard and providing an excellent customer
care.
