Due on the 15th of every month…unless the 15th is a weekend or holiday, then it is due the
Friday before.
Instructions: Each month you will find and research a disease.



Each submission should contain
o Graphic of some aspect of the disease
o Outline description of:
 Specific characteristics
 Causes
 Signs & symptoms
 Diagnosis
 Treatment
All sources should be cited in the correct format for print and internet. Please include the
reference for any graphics you include.
The paper should have your Name and Name of Disease.

Write a one paragraph (5 sentences) summary of the news article.
Write one paragraph (5 sentences) on how this article relates to anatomy. Use multiple
vocabulary words. Clearly relate the article to a concept that we have learned in class so far in
the year. Use at least one example in the relation.
Cite the source: Title of Article, author, date, and URL or Title of Article, author, date, and
newspaper or magazine
Turn in a copy of the article and your paper stapled together.
