Table S1. Spring migration response model. Model estimates (Beta estimates) from general
linear mixed models (logit link) in which spring migration (movement speed > 10 km/hr) was
associated with weather factors measured at the earth’s surface for adult and pre-adult golden
eagles and three ecoregions in eastern North America, March 2006 to December 2012. Nonmigratory movement (< 5 km/hr) was the reference movement pattern, northern regions (Arctic
cordillera, taiga and tundra combined) was the reference ecoregion, and pre-adult was the
reference age.
