MUSIC LESSONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2015

Dear Parents and Carers,
FOR THE ATTENTION OF YEARS 3 TO 5
From September 2015 your child/children can begin/continue to play any of the
following instruments. Keyboard, Drums, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet,
Saxophone, Oboe, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn. Singing lessons are also
available.
Guitar Lessons with Mr Higginbotham are organised with him directly please email
ronhigginbotham28@yahoo.co.uk
All Music Lessons will continue to take place during the School week.
The fixed price from September 2015 is £6.00 per lesson. Bills will be added to your
ParentPay account at the end of each half term, failure to pay on time will result in your
child’s Music/Singing lessons being suspended.
Please note Drums, Keyboard and Singing are taught by independent teachers that do
not work for the Manchester Music Service for this reason credits for lessons missed
will only be issued if the Music Teacher is absent, credits will no longer be issued for
pupils that miss drum/keyboard or singing lessons through their own illness or absence.
If you would like your child to start/continue playing an instrument in September please
complete the attached slip and return it to School no later than FRIDAY 22 nd MAY
2015.
Please note it will be a first come first served basis due to the usage of
instruments. Please don’t miss out; our Music Department is the envy of many.
Once each quota is met each successful pupil will be notified. We apologise in advance if
your child does not get a place but their name will be added to a waiting list and we will
inform you if/when a place becomes available. If we have any spare places they will be
offered to our current Year 2 children, a letter will be sent in due course.
