Job Description Position Title: Director – Child & Adolescent PRP Qualifications: The Director must have a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and three years experience working with emotionally disturbed youth. The Director should have knowledge of the DSM and relevant symptoms of the most common diagnoses within the PRP program. The Director must be able to demonstrate proficiency in assessments, treatment & rehabilitation plans, advocacy skills and case management skills. Employee must be able to educate, monitor, supervise and support professional and non-professional staff in the Child PRP. The Director should have strong administrative skills and be able to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills. Supervision: The Director of the Child & Adolescent PRP reports directly to the CEO and Founder. Essential Responsibilities: Assume responsibility for administrative oversight of Key Point’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). Advise the CEO and Founder regarding the development and implementation of rehabilitation services that reflect the needs of the minors being served by the program. Implement internal systems designed to ensure the fulfillment of administrative requirements regarding authorization for services and payment for services, according to state regulations. Plan, implement, evaluate and adjust policies and procedures governing the provision of services through the PRP in order to meet state regulatory requirements and provide quality mental health services. Organize program services and supports to facilitate the development of minors’ independent living and social skills and promote the use of community resources to integrate minors into their communities. Design and implement systems and training that ensure that services offered through the PRP are appropriate to the age of the populations being served, are coordinated with other mental health services that each minor is receiving, goal directed, outcome focused and based on a functional assessment of each child across life domains. Hire, support and supervise PRP staff including Rehabilitation Specialists and Rehabilitation Counselors. Provide quality management oversight, auditing records to ensure regulatory compliance and the provision of quality services. Coordinate the preparation of client charts for internal and external audits. Program Director – Child PRP Job Description Work with PRP staff to create and implement a monthly schedule of PRP activities for each Key Point facility offering on-site activities to include Group Psychotherapy sessions and PRP group activity sessions. Work with other inter- and intra-agency professionals to coordinate services for children enrolled in the PRP. Ensure compliance with all agency policies and procedures and state regulations governing the provision of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services for Minors. Manage the PRP petty cash budget, evaluating and approving requests for supplies, as needed. Ensure the completion of all requirements and timely submission of all paperwork necessary for Key Point to submit and receive payment for services. Represent Key Point Health Services and the Child & Adolescent PRP program professionally on committees, at conferences, meetings, trainings, etc. Network with other professionals to promote Key Point’s Child PRP. Abide by all safety rules and regulations of the department, facility and agency. Carry out the mission, philosophy of care and policies of Key Point Health Services, Inc.
