ORDINANCE NO. 2015-7
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING SECTION 3.0206 OF THE
MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GLEN ULLIN RELATING TO
THROWING LITTER AND GRASS CLIPPINGS ON STREET OR ALLEY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLEN ULLIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment.
Section 3.0206 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
3.0206 Littering, Grass Clippings in Streets and Alleys - Prohibited
No person, firm or corporation shall throw or deposit or cause to be thrown or
deposited any garbage, glass, boxes, snow, grass clippings and/or leaves, or rubbish of
any kind upon any street or alley in the City. Any person violating the provisions of this
section shall be guilty of an infraction and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not
less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
Section 2. Penalty Section.
3.0206 Any person violating the provisions of Section 3.0206 shall be guilty of an
infraction and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars
($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
Section 3. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall be effective upon final passage and publication of penalty
clause.
Adoption of the foregoing Ordinance was moved by Tina Haverluk, seconded by
Gary Glasser, Council Members Gary Glasser, Tina Haverluk, Kevin Kloosterman, and
Doug Martwick voting for adoption, and none against, and the Ordinance was approved
and duly adopted this 14th day of December, 2015.
