Dear Frank: – – – I have been very much out of health for a fortnight, and quite sick during the last week. Sunday, 15th, I got up from a bed of severe sickness to preach. God gave me strength for the occasion. And though it was with much difficulty I got to the hall, only four doors away, I preached three long sermons too large and attentive audiences. The church here is growing in faith and knowledge, and is of good report without. A very general interest is awakened, and not a few of the clergy of different churches attend our meetings, especially Methodists and Roman Catholics. I am mending in health, and have sat up much of the day to-day, and hope to be out to morrow. James J Strang.
