Initial Terms and Conditions of the Award:
1. You must be a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Mu Omega or newly inducted.
2. You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale on all college courses.
3. You must currently a graduate or undergraduate student in the Purdue University Calumet,
School of Nursing.
4. The scholarship can be applied to tuition, fees or supplies.
5. The Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts will administer the scholarship.
Recommendations:


Two letters of recommendation are required: the first letter needs to be from a professor in the
school of nursing at PUC. If you are a graduate student and attended a different university for
your undergraduate degree, you may ask a professor from your nursing program. The second
letter needs to come from someone familiar with your work experience, extracurricular
activities, achievements, or goals.
A 250 word essay on how you see yourself contributing to the nursing profession and enhancing
the image of the professional nurse after graduation from the nursing program.
