PRESS RELEASE 16 March 2015 3D print 2.0 and many more BEGO innovations on show at the IDS As part of the 2015 International Dental Show (IDS), the Bremen-based dental specialists exhibited new products and further developments from all three business areas. Over an area of approx. 500 m², BEGO presented its 3D print system based on the 3D printer Varseo, as well as new CAD/CAM, conventional and implantology solutions. "We were delighted to welcome large crowds and were pleased with the great interest shown by visitors. In the Varseo we have succeeded in making an innovation in the 3D printing sector saleable on the dental market and can proudly state that we took the right path. The high levels of interest shown by visitors and the great demand are proof of this fact," explained Christoph Weiss, Managing Partner of the BEGO Group. Varseo is a 3D printer with an innovative cartridge system, developed specially for dental applications. Varseo sets new standards, especially in terms of precision, building speed and its broad and expandable range of materials and restorations. Innovations such as the 3.0 implant in the BEGO Semados® RS/RSX-Line from BEGO Implant Systems and the BEGO Guide Tray RS/RSX-Line as well as further developments focusing on the selective laser melting procedure and the range of interfaces on offer from BEGO Medical meant that visitors to the stand had a wealth of new products to discover. "We engaged in interesting discussions with our partners from all around the world and, in doing so, helped to ensure the long-lasting success of this fair," stressed Jürgen Schultze, Head of International Sales at BEGO Bremer Goldschlägerei. Walter Esinger, Managing Director of BEGO Implant Systems, added: "The impressions at the trade fair are always overwhelming. And we were again able to draw good ideas and tips from the conversations we had, which will help make us even better in our day-to-day work." The BEGO International Youth Boat, which becomes a home to young dental experts during the trade fair week, was a great success. As part of the IDS, BEGO offered young dental technician trainees, master students and dental students an inexpensive place to sleep and an exciting and varied program of events. This included tours of the trade fair stand, city and a brewery, a treasure hunt around the city and a dinner talk with Christoph Weiss. Anja Sohn, Head of Brand & Marketing Communications is pleased with how things went: "The reception we received this year was truly unbelievable! The activities proved very popular and many participants have already said they want to join us on board next time round."
