Fishing along the North Antrim Coast....just a few of Jonny's favourites There is no shortage of great game fishing easily accessible from Copperpot Cottage. The world famous River Bush situated close to the Giants Causway offers top class salmon, brown and sea trout fishing on both reserved and unreserved stretches. (Season 1st March - 20 October) Day tickets and helpful local knowledge available from the Salmon Station in Bushmills. Following the coast eastward towards Ballycastle you have the breath taking brown trout loughs of Na Cranagh and Doo atop of Fair Head set in idyllic surroundings. Towards the sea you have the River Margy, the Carey and Glenshesk Rivers offering some good salmon and sea trout fishing (Season 1st March - 31st October) The Ballymoney River offers some good brown trout fishing. Danny is very helpful and knowledgeable about fishing the area and carries a great selection of rods and tackle for game, coarse and sea fishing. There are some excellent shore sea fishing spots at Portrush and as you follow the coast around to Ballintoy, Ballycastle, Torr Head and Cushendun with deep sea fishing charters readily available out of Portrush and Ballycastle.
