If there is anything regarding the application to which you would like to draw attention, or if you wish to specify more subjects than will fit in the table, you may attach a supplementary page (max. one side of A4). Necessary appendices: You must attach your transcript of records as documentation of ECTS credits gained on your current study programme. If you have not gained any ECTS, please sent documentation of your enrolment. If you are applying for courses with specific admission requirements please attach documentation for fulfilling the requirements as listed below: Mathematics at B-level in order to enrol in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Methodology 1. You need to have passed Methodology 1 before you can enrol in Methodology 2. Pre-approval from the Board of Studies on your current programme must be attached the application. If you can’t obtain the pre-approval in time, we will encourage you to send the preapproval as soon as possible. Pre-approvals will be accepted until Semester Start. Deadlines for applications: The Board of Studies for Political Science enrols credit students twice a year, i.e. once per semester. Applications must be received by the date of the application deadline. The deadline for courses in the spring semester is 1 November. The deadline for courses in the autumn semester is 1 June. Applications must be submitted online to meritoptag@ifs.ku.dk Enrolment: Six weeks after the application deadline you will be told whether your application has been approved. If you have been accepted, you will receive a form to apply for a Student ID. You will receive the ID later. It is only valid for the semester in which it is issued. Once you have been accepted, you follow the course/courses in the same way as students in the Department of Political Science. Withdrawal of registration for examination: Course registration automatically includes exam registration. It is not possible to withdraw from the courses/exams unless you can document that your home study approves. Credit transfers: Remember – you are responsible for any credit transfers to your own study programme. This is done via the Board of Studies at your department.
