NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 5,
MARSHALL, PUTNAM AND BUREAU COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
TO SELL $300,000 SCHOOL FIRE PREVENTION AND SAFETY BONDS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Community Unit School District Number 5,
Marshall, Putnam and Bureau Counties, Illinois (the “District”), will hold a public hearing on
the 27th day of January, 2016, at 7:00 o’clock P.M. The hearing will be held in the HenrySenachwine High School Media Center, 1023 College Avenue, Henry, Illinois. The purpose of
the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds of the District in the
amount of $300,000 for the purpose of conforming its existing facilities that house students to
the building code promulgated by the State Board of Education of the State of Illinois, by
altering and reconstructing said facilities and having equipment purchased and installed therein.
