2015 Summer Camp Scholarship Information TCSP will be awarding $20K in scholarships for the upcoming year for our Indoor Season. Classes starting with the 2015 Early Fall Session and running through the end of the 2016 Late Spring Session (one class per session) for juniors between the ages of 8 – 18 years old who are enrolled in at least one of the following junior level camps for at least one summer camp session: Orange Ball (1.0, 2.0 & 3.0) Yellow Ball (1.0, 2.0, 3.0 & 4.0) (For more specific class information please go to our Junior Camp web page located at http://tenniscentersandpoint.com/junior-tennis-camps). Scholarships will be awarded at the end of the Summer Camp Sessions and will be based on the following criteria: 1. Personal Statement. In 500 words or less please tell us why you enjoy the game of tennis, how tennis will make a positive impact on your life and what a scholarship would mean to you. (Parents may help their child with their personal statement, if needed). 2. Attendance and punctuality. 3. Level of respect exhibited towards coaches and peers. 4. Level of enthusiasm and desire to learn. Personal statements must be submitted to TCSP by August 21st 5:00pm to Lisa Moholt at lisa@tenniscentersandpoint.com. You may also contact Lisa at 522-5723 for questions and more information. Scholarships for juniors enrolled in the Tennis Whiz and Red Ball levels will not be awarded at this time. We do, however, encourage these juniors to continue playing and working toward scholarship opportunities in the future. Scholarships will be awarded by August 28th, 2015. *Indoor Seasons at TCSP operate during the months of September through June and consist of five, eight-week sessions or 40 hours total for the season. Recipients must participate throughout the entire season. No holding scholarships.
