The Minutes of the 86th Arkansas State FFA Convention:
First Business Session,
A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes of the 85th State Convention as
posted on the Arkansas FFA website, motion was accepted by unanimous consent.
Mr. Marion Fletcher gave the Arkansas FFA Association report.
Dover and Rogers Heritage received new chapter charters.
The Nominating Committee then gave their report and nominated the following slate for offices:
President- Taylor Mc Neel of Vilonia
Secretary- Sunny Wise of Bismarck
Reporter- Caleigh Moyer of Prairie Grove
NW Vice President- Lindsey Triplett of Southside Bee Branch
Southern Vice President- Megan McMahan of Taylor
Eastern Vice President- Mason Strayhorn of Beebe
The first business session was then adjourned.
Second Business Session:
The Audit Committee gave their report on the financial standings of the Association. Committee
Chair, Stormy Weiand, made a motion to accept the report as read with an implied second. The
delegate body voted to accept the report.
The election of the 2013-2014 Arkansas FFA State Officers was then held.
The following officers were elected:
President- Taylor Mc Neel
Secretary- Sunny Wise
Reporter- Caleigh Moyer
NW Vice Pres.- Lindsey Triplett
Southern Vice Pres.- Megan McMahan
Eastern Vice Pres.- Mason Strayhorn
With no further business to be completed the session was adjourned.
