Section II: Scholarship Intent
The Rita Jane Stec Scholarship Fund was created to help families continue their pursuit of Catholic education for their children. Four
(4) non-renewable scholarships will be awarded: Two (2) $1000 to a St. Ambrose 8th grader entering Padua Franciscan High School
and Four (4) $500 Scholarships to a St. Ambrose 6th grader who will enter into the 7th grade at St. Ambrose. Award recipients will
be informed in April 2015.
Section III: Meeting the Criteria
Student must currently be enrolled at St. Ambrose. Awards will only be distributed to the school once the student begins the school
year. This award is non-transferable. Students will be evaluated by a scholarship committee who will review the completed
application. The most successful applicant will demonstrate strong academics, character, leadership, and service. All parts of the
application must be completed for consideration.
Section IV: Principal Recommendation
First, complete this entire application (pages 1-3), including required signatures. Next, provide the entire application to your
principal by January 30, 2015. Your principal must complete the last page, and return the application to Scholarship Committee
contact by February 6, 2015. You will not receive your application back once you have submitted it to your principal for the
recommendation.
