Digital Humanities/Information Architecture Dual Degree Program For students wishing to pursue graduate-level work in Information Architecture, the Department of Humanities offers a dual degree program allowing students to complete a B.S. in Digital Humanities and an M.S. in Information Architecture. Students entering with no college credits can complete the program in as little as 5 years, shortening the time to an M.S.; students entering IIT with AP or transfer credits can complete this program in even less time. This program requires that students complete all required credits for both the B.S. and M.S. degrees with 9 credit hours serving as dual credit. Note: Students wishing to complete the dual degree program may choose any specialization for their Digital Humanities major; however, those students specializing in Information Architecture may have increased flexibility in their graduate studies. This program offers a number of advantages, including: Advanced academic and professional preparation. Allow students to pursue a B.S. and M.S. degrees simultaneously, cutting the time to degree by at least one year. Streamline graduate admissions. Offer students research and professional development opportunities early in their studies. Link graduate and undergraduate coursework. Accelerate learning opportunities. B.S. Digital Humanities/M.S.
